The Horrors cancel all US and European tour dates
The band cite “circumstances beyond our control”.
The Horrors have cancelled all their US and European tour dates due to take place later this year.
Posting on Facebook, the band cited “circumstances beyond our control”.
“Dear friends, family, supporters, deadly sworn enemies and others,” they wrote.
“Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to reshuffle our US and European tours at the end of this year. We can only apologise to anyone who already has tickets to the dates affected - we hate cancelling shows but this situation was unavoidable. We’ll be back on the road next year and make sure we return to all the places we missed on this run.”
There is no specific mention of the band’s UK tour, which is scheduled to begin this September. The band were due to follow the UK shows with dates across North America from 13th October onwards.
Assuming ‘European’ refers only to mainland Europe dates, The Horrors’ UK tour calls at:
SEPTEMBER
22 Norwich Waterfront
23 Bournemouth O2 Academy
25 West Denton Riverside
26 Glasgow O2 ABC
27 Manchester Albert Hall
29 Birmingham Institute
30 Sheffield Leadmill
OCTOBER
1 Bristol O2 Academy
3 Worthing Pavilion Theatre
4 London Troxy
The Horrors are also due to play this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals.
