Performance took place at Iceland Airwaves 2014, including a new song, ‘Sexy Wife’.

Closing the year out as part of DIY’s Class of 2015, with their first record deal in tow, a new session’s emerged of Girl Band playing several songs for KEXP

The performance takes place at Iceland Airwaves, Reykjavik, with the Dublin group running through this year’s ‘Lawman’ single, plus a cover of Beat Happening’s ‘I Love You’. They also showcased 25-second long force ‘The Cha Cha Cha’, ‘De Bom Bom’, ‘Heckle the Frames’ and previously unheard new track ‘Sexy Wife’.

This month, Girl Band confirmed they’d signed a deal with Rough Trade, with a debut album in the works for 2015.

Next year starts with an appearance at DIY’s Hello 2015, 27th January at London’s Old Blue Last. They play with Demob Happy, Ex’s and Bruising. It’s free entry - first come, first served.
