Watch footage from Sleater-Kinney’s first show in 9 years
The reunited act began their tour at Spokane’s Knitting Factory.
Sleater-Kinney began their much anticipated comeback tour in Spokane, Washington on Sunday (8th Feb).
The three-piece, joined by Sky Larkin’s Katie Harkin for the entire tour, ran through a 23-song set made up of tracks from this year’s ‘No Cities To Love’ record as well as choice cuts from their back catalogue, opening with the new album’s first track ‘Price Tag’.
Brownstein, Tucker and Weiss had already made an appearances on US television to promote ‘No Cities To Love’, playing ‘A New Wave’ on Letterman in January, but this was their first proper show since 2006.

Sleater-Kinney are set to play a slew of UK dates across February and March, beginning with the BBC 6 Music Festival in Newcastle on 20th February. The band will then take in a full UK tour including a show at London’s Roundhouse.
