Lianne La Havas announces ‘Blood’ album, shares ‘Unstoppable’

Second LP is out this July on Warner Bros. Records.

Lianne La Havas has announced plans to release her new, second album ‘Blood’.

Out 31st July on Warner Bros. Records, it follows on from the ‘Is Your Love Big Enough?’ debut, which picked up a Mercury Prize nod (and even earned her a spot on the judging panel).

Stephen McGregor produced the record, which is led by new single ‘Unstoppable’. The album is said to reflect Lianne’s part-Jamaican, part-Greek family heritage, and the “clarity” she discovered when going back through the years.

Additional collaborators include Paul Epworth, Disclosure’s Howard Lawrence, Jamie Lidell and Aqualung’s Matt Hales.

Lianne La Havas plays the following UK dates:

MAY
18 Brighton, Komedia
19 London, Wilton’s Music Hall
30 Ross-on-Wye, How the Light Gets In Festival

JUNE
20 Swansea, Singleton Park
24-28 Glastonbury

JULY
02 Manchester, Summer In The City
18 Latitude Festival

SEPTEMBER
11 Bestival

Lianne La Havas will play Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
