Busy workin’: Jungle begin work on second album, in their bedrooms

Jungle begin work on second album, in their bedrooms

London collective give an update on the progress of LP2.

Jungle have given an update on their progress in carving out a second LP, and are heading back to their bedrooms.

In a new interview with BBC Newsbeat, Tom McFarland and Josh Lloyd-Watson said they want to create their second album in the same way their first, now certified gold in the UK, was made.

The band said: “We like the idea of going home, going back to the bedroom and starting again with it, rather than flying off to LA or New York.”

Speaking about the new album back in July, McFarland had a simple aim for the band’s next release. “The only thing we want to do is make it a better album than the last time.”

Jungle will emerge from the studio for a one-off curated show at Manchester’s Warehouse Project on 18th December. The line-up for the show includes John Talabot and LA Priest.
