Marcus Marr and Chet Faker release new collaborative ‘Birthday Card’ track

The track’s taken from their new ‘Work’ EP, out next Friday.

Ahead of the release of their new, collaborative ‘Work’ EP, Chet Faker and South London-based, DFA-associated producer Marcus Marr have shared another joint track.

‘Birthday Card’ sees both revel in their idiosyncracies, Chet’s vocal paired up with a decidedly deeper bass sound than his lighter, more airy solo productions. It’s an exciting match-up, and one that points at an ever-evolving craft for the pair of them.

Stream ‘Birthday Card’ below - it’s taken from the ‘Work’ EP, out next Friday (4th December) via Chet’s label Detail Records.
