Darkside’s Dave Harrington has remixed Beyoncé and Michael Jackson

12 Days Of Remixes project will also see Nils Frahm, Empress Of, Steve Reich and more go under the knife.

Kicking off a festive treat of highly vibey proportions, Darkside guitarist Dave Harrington has unveiled two new remixes of Beyonce and Michael Jackson.

Taken from a new project entitled 12 Days Of Remixes which’ll see Dave share new, unreleased remixes daily, his takes on Bey’s ‘Blow’ and Michael Jackson’s ‘Human Nature’ add a darker undertone to the pop hits. You can stream both below.

He’s set to unveil more as part of the project too - Nils Frahm, Tyondai Braxton, Empress Of and Steve Reich have all gone under the knife for the project, amongst others. It’s all leading up to December 13th’s ‘2nd Annual Dave Harrington & Friends Holiday Spectacular’, where Dave will lead a house band which will also feature members of The Antlers, Yeasayer, Dirty Projectors, The War on Drugs and Real Estate. Which sounds like a right old knees-up.

That takes place at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge - more info here.
