Lorde performs David Bowie tribute at the BRIT Awards

The ‘Royals’ star fronted Bowie’s old band for the televised performance.

Amongst all the glitz and glamour of the BRIT Awards, Lorde took to the stage for a heartfelt tribute to the late, great David Bowie.

Taking to the stage to front Bowie’s old band, the ‘Royals’ star performed ‘Life On Mars’ following an instrumental medley of some of Bowie’s biggest hits. Watch the performance back below.

Following Bowie’s death, Lorde paid tribute to the man himself, stating, “I’ve never met a hero of mine and liked it. David Bowie was different.”
