Warpaint share ‘Whiteout’, the opener from their new album

The four-piece’s new full-length ‘Heads Up’ is out this Friday.

With their new album out in a matter of days, Warpaint have shared ‘Whiteout’, the LP’s opener.

A more groove-laden track than their usual swirling psych, it’s the perfect introduction to Warpaint’s newfound directness on that incoming, LP, all crackling percussion and bounding basslines. Stream it below, and head in the studio with the band while you’re at it.

‘Whiteout’ joins ‘New Song’ in previewing the new record - that first single gained a fun-filled new music video last week, too.

‘Heads Up’ is set for release this Friday (24th September) via Rough Trade, with the four-piece embarking on something of a world tour in the coming months - UK dates for that are:

22 Bristol, Simple Things Festival
23 Edinburgh, Queens Hall
24 Manchester, Albert Hall
26 Liverpool, The Dome
27 London, The Roundhouse
