Meet Jesus, a beardy member of the Hilltop Colony who encounters Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon.

The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season is out now on Blu-ray and DVD and we’ve an exclusive look at a making of clip from the release.

One of the new characters introduced in Season Six is long-haired beardy Jesus (Tom Payne), a member of the Hilltop Colony who encounters Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and we have a look at clip, Making Of: Introducing Jesus.

In the clip British actor Payne (still using the American accent he adopts in the show) describes how he already knew one of the cast: “Me and Andrew [Lincoln] are from the same town in England and we have a little bit of history, we were in the same drama group.”

The scene in which Jesus is introduced involves a number of stunts including Payne riding atop a moving truck with Lincoln and Reedus inside. Stunt co-ordinator Monty Simmons and episode director Kari Skogland take us through what is involved in creating Jesus’ arresting debut.
