The final series of Ripper Street gets launch date

The fifth series is set to launch on Amazon Prime Wednesday 12th October.

The fifth and final series of hit period crime drama, Ripper Street will launch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in the UK from 12th October.

The six episode series will make up one single story as Inspector Reid (Matthew Macfadyen) and Homer Jackson (Adam Rothberg) become fugitives, forced to operate outside the law as they hunt a serial killer (Jonas Armstrong) alongside ‘Long’ Susan Hart (MyAnna Buring). Their former foe, Detective Inspector Jedediah Shine (Joseph Mawle) returns to Whitechapel to hunt down the new fugitives.

Written and created by Richard Warlow and produced by Tiger Aspect Drama and Lookout Point, Ripper Street’s previous four series are available now for unlimited streaming on Amazon Prime to members.
