Oooh: Watch Warpaint perform acoustic versions of ‘New Song’ and ‘Whiteout’

Watch Warpaint perform acoustic versions of ‘New Song’ and ‘Whiteout’

The stripped-back tracks were recorded for Indie88.

Warpaint recently visited Toronto’s Indie88, popping into their Collective Arts Black Box to film a couple of acoustic versions of songs from latest album ‘Heads Up.’

They tackled album opener ‘Whiteout’ and ‘New Song,’ both versions stripping away the groove-laden synths and bouncing basslines in favour of some wonderfully tight, soaring harmonies backed by gentler percussion. Seriously, is there anything they can’t pull off?

Read our interview with the band from earlier in the year here.

Watch them perform both versions and see their upcoming European tour dates below, too.
