Burial puts out new tracks ‘Young Death’ and ‘Nightmarket’
His new ‘surprise’ 12” accidentally went on sale last Friday in a Toronto record store. Woopsy.
Burial’s shared a couple of new tracks - ‘Young Death’ and ‘Nightmarket’ - on his Bandcamp page.
The songs were reportedly intended for a surprise 12” called ‘Young Death’, but the whole thing went arse-over-tip when a Toronto record store put the release on sale on Black Friday by accident. Burial’s label Hyperdub apparently hit up Sonic Boom Records to express their general pissed-off-ness, but by then it was too late. The ‘Young Death’ 12” is already on Discogs, with the catalogue number HDB100. Oh.
Anyway, now Burial’s thrown caution to the wind, and put those meant-to-be-a-surprise tracks online. Listen below.
