Bon Iver cancels forthcoming European tour

Justin Vernon and co. have cited “personal reasons” as the cause for the cancellations.

Bon Iver’s year hasn’t gotten off to the best start: Justin Vernon and co. have announced the cancellation of their forthcoming European live shows.

The ‘22, A Million’ artist was scheduled to begin the tour in Paris on 22nd January, before ending the run in London, but according to a Facebook post made today (Wednesday 4th January), the full tour has now been cancelled due to “personal reasons”.

The message - which also announced the cancellation of Justin’s appearance on A Prairie Home Companion - reads as follows.

‘It’s with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of our forthcoming European tour and Justin’s planned appearance on A Prairie Home Companion this month…

For personal reasons, Bon Iver has cancelled its forthcoming European tour set to begin in Paris on January 22, 2017, and end in London on February 20, 2017 in addition to Justin Vernon’s scheduled appearance on A Prairie Home Companion on January 14, 2017.
