Creeper goth up Valentine’s Day with ‘Black Rain’

The track, taken from debut album ‘Eternity, In Your Arms’, was Mistajam’s Hottest Record.

Creeper’s debut album ‘Eternity, In Your Arms’ is coming out next month, and they’ve chosen Valentine’s Day to share its next track, album opener ‘Black Rain’.

Getting all loved up for the occasion, the track’s chorus sees Hannah Greenwood yelling “so darling just you shut your pretty mouth”.

“I know I mean nothing to you now,” finishes Will Gould, and it’s a thunderous next step for the Southampton punks, as bombastic as we’ve come to expect from the six-piece.

‘Black Rain’ got its first play on Radio 1 as Mistajam’s Hottest Record, and Will and Hannah joined him in the studio, calling the track “a bitter love song”.

Listen to ‘Black Rain’ below, complete with a fancy new video. ‘Eternity, In Your Arms’ is out on 24th March.
