Hippo Campus unveil live video for new track ‘Simple Season’

The track comes from forthcoming debut LP ‘Landmark’

Minnesota boys Hippo Campus have unveiled new track ‘Simple Season’ with a new live video ahead of the release of debut LP ‘Landmark’.

A twinkling indie earworm built for summer festivals, it’s a tasty teaser from the band’s long-awaited record, which lands tomorrow (February 24th).

Here’s what the band have got to say for themselves: “milking our youth for all its worth. it’s the photos on your bedroom wall from that disposable camera you picked up for the summer. that night when the moon was full. lying kites the day after. friends we made and the friends that made us. nothing to do and all day to do it. nowhere to go and all day to get there. sittin’ around in the simplicity of it all belonging to us.”

When they’re not busy hating on capital letters, the band will be heading back over to UK shores in October for a full tour including a none-too-small date at London’s KOKO.

Tickets go on sale 9am tomorrow.
