Cast your mind back to 2012, when Peace released debut single proper ‘Follow Baby’ into the world. Remember how it sounded: confident, sassy and immediately, hugely exciting. And you knew, you just knew they had something special.

On debut single ‘Struggling’, Brighton quartet Safe To Swim are making us feel some big feelings all over again. There’s a little of Peace’s epic indie fervour in the needling guitar solo, a little of fellow sea-siders The Magic Gang in the opening verse, a little of big hitters Circa Waves in its arena baiting ambition. But really, ‘Struggling’ is its own beast - a soaring, stupidly catchy, stupidly massive hit that shows its owners aren’t here to piss about.
