Rat Boy shares the new video for ‘Revolution’

According to Jordan Cardy, it depicts “a daydream in broken Britain.”

A couple of weeks ago, Jordan Cardy, better known as Rat Boy, called for a ‘Revolution’ with his latest single.

Now he’s unveiled the accompanying video, directed by his fine self alongside regular collaborator Thomas Davis. In it, Canty and his crew hang around corner shops called “Scum” and “Big Fucka” (don’t remember those brands on the high street) and get their hi viz on, causing a bit of a riot wherever they go.

Speaking of the video in a statement, Jordan said: “The ‘Revolution’ video opens with a breaking news segment reporting the saga of the character Scum. It then depicts a hyper-realistic Essex, taking normal everyday things like going to Tesco or the newsagent and giving it a satirical twist. It’s a daydream in broken Britain.”

Watch the video for ‘Revolution’ and see Rat Boy’s upcoming UK tour dates below.
