On the telly: Watch Warpaint bring ‘Whiteout’ to Ellen

The song was hand-picked by Ellen DeGeneres herself!
Warpaint are currently gearing up for a pretty massive summer doing a whole heap of festivals (including Rock Werchter, NOS Alive, Melt, Glastonbury and Roskilde) and they’ll even be supporting Depeche Mode later in the summer.
At the minute though they’ve just kicked off their own headline tour. Despite that, they still found the time to head to the Ellen DeGeneres show to play a track on the telly. Ellen herself professed her love for the band before they went on stage, and the band even tweeted that “Ellen chose the song… guess which one.” Well, Ellen proved that she has good taste by picking ‘Whiteout’ from recent album ‘Heads Up.’
Watch Warpaint perform ‘Whiteout’ on Ellen below.
Warpaint will play Rock Werchter (29th June-2nd July) and Open’er (28th June-1st July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
