Glastonbury 2017 shares Shangri-La line-up

Rat Boy is amongst the newest names added for the June knees-up.

Yet more names have been added to this year’s Glastonbury. The line-up for the festival’s Shangri-La area have been revealed, and Rat Boy leads the set of new names.

The area has also shared its theme for the year: ‘recycle, re-use, resist’. Metal label Earache Records will also be curating parts of a new stage called The Truth Stage, with none other than Napalm Death headlining the Thursday night. Talk about Glastonbury branching out…

Other areas recently announced for this year’s fest include the Silver Hayes area, who announced Mura Masa, Forest Swords and more, the Fields Of Avalon, who welcome Sophie Ellis-Bextor(!), Busted(!!) and more, and Shangri-La’s neighbour in Block9.

Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran are set to headline this year’s festival, with alt-J, Lorde, The xx, The National and more are also set to appear.

Glastonbury 2017 runs from 21st-25th June at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.
