Human Tooth make chaotic introduction on ‘Undo Drag’

Newcastle native Scott Harrison decamped to Barcelona, where the new project was conceived.

Newcastle native Scott Harrison came up with the idea for Human Tooth while decamping to Barcelona to get away from Tyneside’s grey skies.

He’s now emerged with debut single ‘Undo Drag’, released tomorrow on new label Weekend Denim, and on the track both the blue skies of Catalonia and bitter winds of Newcastle both fight against each other for control.

For every pummelling bassline, there’s a sugary guitar melody or fuzzed out vocal, and it’s a first effort that leaves the door wide open for Human Tooth to do anything from here onwards.

Placed somewhere between surf-pop and kraut-influenced rock, ‘Undo Drag’ is a compelling debut that, though Human Teeth are only one single and one gig deep, makes them more than worth watching.
