Breakfast Muff announce debut album with ‘R U A Feminist’

‘Eurgh!’ is coming out via Amour Foo in July, and the first single is today’s Neu Pick.

Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Breakfast Muff.

Glasgow DIY punks Breakfast Muff are releasing their debut album this summer, and we’ve got the first play of its lead single on DIY.

The appropriately titled ‘Eurgh!’ - the album is perfect, pissed-off punk - is coming out via Amour Foo on 7th July, and is being previewed by new single ‘R U A Feminist’.

Following the band’s equally vicious, angry recent single ‘Babyboomers’, ‘R U A Feminist’ is just as intense, with every word spat from vocalist Eilidh McMillan’s mouth feeling like a battle cry.

Breakfast Muff will release their debut album ‘Eurgh!’ in July, playing a hometown show at Glasgow’s Stereo with Joyce Manor and Martha the same month.

View the band’s tour dates and listen to ‘R U A Feminist’ below.
