Chase The Jewels: Run The Jewels, Big Boi and Danger Mouse team up on ‘Chase Me’

Run The Jewels, Big Boi and Danger Mouse team up on ‘Chase Me’

The killer tune was produced for the upcoming film ‘Baby Driver’.

Well, talk about a killer combo…

Danger Mouse has enlisted Run The Jewels and Big Boi to collaborate with him on ‘Chase Me’, a storming hook up that sees RTJ and the OutKast member spitting bars over percussive beats, driving riffs and a bit of a smooth breakdown. It also happens to sample ‘Bellbottoms’, a track by the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

The track was produced for new film ‘Baby Driver’, which stars actor (and sometime EDM DJ) Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx. ‘Chase Me’ will be featured on the original motion picture soundtrack, coming out on 23rd June via Danger Mouse’s own 30th Century Records.

Speaking of ‘Chase Me’, Danger Mouse said: “[The director] showed me a cut of the movie last year and I loved the Atlanta connection… I’ve been doing more hip-hop stuff recently, so I bugged both RTJ and Big Boi to jump on it. We’ve all known each other for years and talked about working together before so I’m really glad this could happen now.”
