Real Estate share interactive new video for ‘Stained Glass’

The band are encouraging viewers to create their own kaleidoscopic creations.

Back in March, Real Estate shared their ‘In Mind’ single ‘Stained Glass’ and accompanied it with a video that taught the listener how to play three different instruments on the song.

Now the band have released the official video, directed by Craig Allen. It keeps the interactive vibe of the tutorial video going, allowing watchers to colour in their own unique version of the blank-canvas video. The band have already coloured it in themselves as a demonstration, but if you want to make your own colourful creation, you can do so here.

In a statement, Craig said of the video: “We were collectively excited by making a video that the band could create with their fans rather than for them. I’ve always been excited to find new ways of making content and this video is a fun—dare I say therapeutic—thing to play with, where you actually get to feel like you accomplish something at the end. That’s what is exciting to all of us and we’re extremely proud of what we’ve been able to create with the help of the fabulous MediaMonks team.”
