Broken Social Scene share new track ‘Skyline’

It’s the latest track to be taken from upcoming album ‘Hug of Thunder’.

Currently on the road for a short run of dates in Europe – where they’ve recently been joined by Johnny Marr in the wake of the Manchester bombing at the city’s Albert Hall – Canadian super-collective Broken Social Scene have shared another track from their upcoming new album ‘Hug of Thunder’.

New track ‘Skyline’ sits somewhere between the sheer euphoria of their comeback single ‘Halfway Home’ and the hushed subtlety of the album’s title track. Kicking off with tinny strummed guitars, it soon blossoms to become an atmospheric number with pounding drums and soaring harmonies. Broken Social Scene at their best then.
