Queens of the Stone Age have revealed details of new album ‘Villains’

They’ve faced a polygraph and revealed a few facts about their much-teased new LP.

So, after a whole boatload of teasing – including a teaser trailer just last night – it looks like Queens of the Stone Age are ready to reveal a few more details about their new album!

Well, kind of. They’re under duress you see, as Josh Homme and co have shared a video where they’re hooked up to a lie detector and are forced to reveal the truth about the new LP. First question: is it called ‘Villains’? Answer: yes it is.

It’s also been produced by Mark Ronson, who appears briefly in the video as a DJ. A 45-second clip of a brand new track called ‘Feet Don’t Fail Me’ is also played in the video, and it sounds like a full-throttle rock stomper.

Although a tracklisting and release date have yet to be announced, we did also learn that Josh Homme is a mind reader and that he loves to dance – but is he lying about that last one? Judging by what we can hear of ‘Feet Don’t Fail Me’, it’s probably the only question he answered truthfully…
