Jeremy Corbyn to introduce Run The Jewels at Glastonbury

Festival boss Michael Eavis calls him “the hero of the hour”.

Jeremy Corbyn is to address crowds at next week’s Glastonbury festival, report The Guardian, and introduce Run The Jewels on the Pyramid Stage.

He cancelled an appearance last year due to the Brexit vote, but as festival boss Michael Eavis explains “he’s the hero of the hour”. “We’re Corbyn fans,” he told the newspaper this week.

The Labour leader will address crowds on the famed Pyramid Stage, introducing Run The Jewels - who expressed their support for Corbyn, and his party, at Field Day the other week

Killer Mike is, of course, a fervent Bernie Sanders supporter, calling the Democratic leadership candidate a friend.

Run The Jewels also announced details of a UK tour this week, with support from Danny Brown.
