Lomelda weaves spiritual indie-folk on ‘Interstate Vision’

Hannah Read’s new album ‘THX’ is out in September.

Hannah Read, better known as Lomelda, toured with Pinegrove in the UK earlier in the year and has now announced plans to release her new album.

‘THX’ is out on 8th September via Double Double Whammy, and it’s set to show off more of her textured and spacious indie-folk. Case in point, the album’s lead track and new single ‘Interstate Vision’.

It’s a lilting number with a classic edge that’s at once quiet yet filled with sound. From Hannah’s own slightly melancholic voice to the way the guitar weaves, and the dusty percussion that sometimes swells and at other times lies deeper in the mix, it somehow manages to be haunting yet ethereal and calm as she sings about seeing “an angel fly on bright white wings guiding me home”.

Listen to ‘Interstate Vision’ and see the tracklisting for ‘THX’ below.
