Bon Iver played at Rock The Garden festival in Minneapolis this weekend just gone, and made a pretty special appearance with Prince’s band The Revolution.
The Revolution wrapped up their tour in tribute to their late leader at the festival, and Vernon joined them for a version of ‘Erotic City’, the b-side to the ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ single.
The Revolution’s drummer Bobby Z told The Current that the Bon Iver frontman chose the song especially from the band’s setlist.
Bon Iver recently announced details of a new European tour for later this year, making up for the run of shows, initially set for February, that were cancelled at the last moment. No London gigs have yet been announced though, with four shows in the capital initially scheduled for the February tour.
