Charli XCX to release new single ‘Boys’ tomorrow!

The track will be Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on Radio 1.

WAHOO! We’re going to have a new Charli XCX single tomorrow! The singer has revealed that ‘Boys’ will be her next single, and will premiere as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on Radio 1 tomorrow evening (26th July).

A teeny preview of the track has also been shared on Charli’s Twitter. The singer is mid-way through a summer packed with festivals. We’ve already seen her tear up Glastonbury and Belgium’s Rock Werchter.

Back in May, Charli revealed that she doesn’t think her new album will be released until 2018, but that she plans to release lots of new music before then.

She said: “I finished my album in the middle of last year and I’m probably not even going to release it until next year now, because I want to release a lot of other music before, that isn’t totally linked to the album.”

We’ll see, then, whether ‘Boys’ is the first taster of her new LP, or just a standalone cut. See you tomorrow night everyone!
