Listen to TRASH’s fuzz-filled new self-titled EP

The Chesterfield bunch deliver five slices of scuzzy indie pop.

On Friday, Chesterfield indie-pop bunch TRASH – aka Daniel Longmore, Tom Barton, Evan Martin and Bradley Weston - are set to release their brand new self-titled EP. Hurrah!

In advance of the EP’s release they’ve already revealed two fuzzed-up gems in the form of ‘81’ and ‘Migraines’, and ahead of its official release they’re now streaming the whole thing exclusively via DIY. Of course, the remainder of the tracks on the collection don’t disappoint, providing euphoric hooks, squalling riffs, some laid-back vocals and more than a few bursts of pure sunshine.

Speaking of ‘81’, the band said: “Please fulfil life, take risks, have experiences, laugh a lot and try to worry as little as possible”. There’s no risk in taking a bit of time to listen to TRASH; even when the subjects are more downbeat, they still manage to deliver a feel-good experience.

In October, TRASH are set to take the new EP around the country, hitting London, Manchester, Stockton, Sheffield, Derby and more. Tickets are on sale now.

Ahead of its release on Friday, get the first spin of ‘TRASH’ and check out the band’s upcoming tour dates below.
