Bad Nerves get fuzzed-up and frenetic on ‘Radio Punk’

It follows on from the East Londoners’ singles ‘Can’t Be Mine’ and ‘Dreaming’.

After delivering a slice of power-punk emotional exorcism with ‘Can’t Be Mine’ last year and ‘Dreaming’ earlier in 2017, East Londoners Bad Nerves are back and they’re scuzzier than ever.

The band have dropped their new single ‘Radio Punk’, a slice of frenetic, fast-paced and lo-fi punk that sets the pace early and shows no signs of slowing down (bit like the band themselves, eh?) The band encourage you to ‘PLAY AT MAXIMUM VOLUME’, and since they’re using capitals, they must be pretty serious. Guess that means it’s going all the way up to eleven, then.

The track is accompanied by a video that’s just as rapid-fire as the tune. Simple in its execution, cutting between images of the band doing what they do best either in full screen or smaller windows. Oh, but don’t eat while watching it. Not only does it like the flash cutting but there’s also a bit of a dose of gross at the end. You’ve been warned.
