Forest Swords unveils video for ‘Raw Language’
The track features on his 2017 album, ‘Compassion’.
Forest Swords has unveiled visuals for ‘Raw Language’. The track is taken from his second full-length album, ‘Compassion’, released back in May (read our review of the LP here).
“Raw Language is the most direct song on the album, and moves into the light a lot more than some of the other tracks,” he says. “I wanted to echo that in the video, bringing in colour, texture and surreal warmth”.
The video was directed by the producer - real name Matthew Barnes - himself, alongside Sam Wiehl, and produced by Barnes’ own Dense Truth studio.
He plays a string of UK live dates as part of a European tour this autumn.

At times heart-stopping, at others movingly barren, but always thoroughly arresting.
