Sound the klaxon! The Killers have a new video!
Yes, after what can only be described as the sheer epic nature of their clip for ‘The Man’ a little while ago, The Killers are back with a new clip for ‘Run For Cover’, the latest track taken from upcoming album ‘Wonderful Wonderful’. So is it as wonderful wonderful as the clip for ‘The Man’? Well, it is, in a pretty different way.
The video, shot by Tarik Mikou, is shot much more like a condensed horror flick than the Vegas spectacular of the band’s last clip, following a woman as she runs away from a man through mysterious woods. There’s a Molotov cocktail, lighters getting moodily flicked and a cassette tape that’s probably got some damning evidence of some kind on it. Oh, and the band turn up at the beginning of the video like spectres but never return. Basically, it’s an intense one.
The Killers also added a couple of new dates to their already pretty extensive UK arena tour when unveiling ‘Run For Cover’, which they’ll be headed out on in November. While some dates have sold out, you can still grab a few remaining tickets. Tickets are on sale now.
