Barry Keoghan & Raffey Cassidy discuss The Killing of a Sacred Deer

The stars chatted about their initial thoughts on the unusual script and Lanthimos’ refreshing direction.

Revered Greek director, Yorgos Lanthimos returns with his second English language film The Killing of a Sacred Deer, an unsettling, blackly comic horror which features a truly startling performance from young Irish actor Barry Keoghan.

A revenge tale at its heart, The Killing of a Sacred Deer sees a teenage boy force cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Steven Murphy (Colin Farrell) into making an impossible, deadly decision.

DIY recently sat down with Keoghan and co-star Raffey Cassidy to chat about their initial thoughts on the unusual script and Lanthimos’ refreshing direction.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer is out in UK cinemas now. Watch our interview below.
