Show Boy shares new video for ‘Empress’

The single aired back in September.

Back in September, London’s Show Boy shared their pop-fusion belter ‘Empress’.

Speaking of the track at the time, we said: “Channelling a strange cocktail of Rachel Stevens, Holly Valance and other such noughties pop gems through a warped lens, it’s a tongue in cheek collision of lusty fantasy exploration and falsetto bridges”.

Now the tune has a new video, directed by Amanda Tooke and Emma Kilraine. It’s every bit as glitzy as you want it to be, with snow queen aesthetics and people with seriously glittery makeup. Shedding off its icy visuals for the climax, it all turns into a neon party bathed in kaleidoscopic colours. It’s every bit as vibrant as the track itself.
