It looks like The Distillers might be back…

A new teaser video seems to signal the return of Brody Dalle’s troup, who broke up in 2006.

It’s only the third day of the year that is 2018, but there’s already been quite a few surprises thrown our way. First, Justin Timberlake went all country bumpkin, and now it looks like The Distillers are reuniting!

Brody Dalle’s group broke up in 2006, with Dalle herself and guitarist Tony Bevilacqua going on to form Spinnerette.

A now-mandatory teaser video is the signal we’ve got that things are kickstarting again for the band, who released three studio albums between 2000 and 2003.

New social media accounts have been set up for the band, which Brody then linked to on her own Twitter. The teaser video is a suitably atmospheric clip, featuring a woozy snippet of the title track from the band’s ‘Coral Fang’ LP.

What a nice start to 2018! Barring a miracle, this year will see the return of The Distillers, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t beside ourselves with excitement.
