Whenyoung share new single ‘Pretty Pure’ on Yala! Records

The band play our Hello 2018 series at The Old Blue Last tomorrow (23rd January).

Irish trio Whenyoung are playing the third show of our Hello 2018 series at The Old Blue Last in London tomorrow (23rd January), and have today shared a new single.

‘Pretty Pure’ is set to come out on 7” via Yala! Records (The Magic Gang, Yak), and follows the band’s AA-side ‘Actor’/’Silverchair’ from last year.

Talking about the band releasing the new 7” on Yala!, label boss and former Maccabee Felix White says: ”We are so proud to be putting out the first Whenyoung 7”, firstly because it’s pretty miraculous for a band to be making such infectious pop music at such an early stage, but also because they have the rare touch of subtly letting you know there will also be so much more to come.”

Following the Hello 2018 show, Whenyoung are set to play a series of support slots across the first half of the year, including shows with Dream Wife and Declan McKenna.

Listen to ‘Pretty Pure’ and view the dates below.
