In the midst of announcing a slew of European festival dates today, Arctic Monkeys have now revealed their first UK summer show for 2018. Making their first show on British soil since summer 2014, they’ll be headlining Glasgow’s TRNSMT on Sunday June 31st.
Running over two consecutive weekends from June 29th – July 8, the Scottish event has already announced The Killers, Liam Gallagher and Stereophonics as its other headliners with one more artist still to be revealed.
Still only in its second year, TRNSMT will also play host to the likes of Wolf Alice, CHVRCHES and Franz Ferdinand over the two weekends.
On Sunday, joining Arctic Monkeys, will be Interpol, Blossoms, Nothing But Thieves, Declan McKenna, Miles Kane and Tom Grennan.
Last year’s weekender was headlined by Radiohead, Biffy Clyro and DIY’s August cover stars Kasabian. Look back on the feature, where we headed down to TRNSMT with the band, here.
