Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd share ‘Pray For Me’ from Black Panther soundtrack

The record, out a week today, is also set to feature James Blake, Vince Staples and more.

Yesterday, Kendrick Lamar shared details of the tracklisting for the Black Panther soundtrack that he’s curated.

Out a week today (9th February), the soundtrack was revealed to feature previous Kendrick collaborators Vince Staples and James Blake, alongside Jorja Smith, The Weeknd and more.

Kendrick has now shared his collaboration with Abel Tesfaye, closing track ‘Pray For Me’. The title’s a consistent lyric across Kendrick’s 2017 LP ‘DAMN.’.

A hyper-active, bubbling cut, there’s a consistent to-and-fro between the pair’s voices, and they prove extremely suitable for each other.

A Kendrick x SZA collaboration from the album - ‘All The Stars’ - was shared at the beginning of January.
