South London’s BYFYN roams the streets in ‘Haze Of Light’ video

The new clip, from recent EP ‘Almost Rosy’, is today’s Neu Pick.

Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from BYFYN.

BYFYN - aka South London singer/producer Ellie Isherwood - released her new EP ‘Almost Rosy’ at the start of the year.

For today’s Neu Pick, we’ve got the first play of the video for one of its standout tracks, ‘Haze Of Light’.

“The streetlights dance and glow, they hide our doubts,” Ellie sings amongst a slow but towering melting pot of synths, and the video sees her proceeding to dance among said streetlights into the night.

The clip, directed by Munir Malik, is an atmospheric, slow-motion trip that follows a nighttime walk and perfectly accompanies the track, a dark, captivating synth-pop beast.
