Islands in the stream: Listen to Kero Kero Bonito’s new EP ‘TOTEP’

Listen to Kero Kero Bonito’s new EP ‘TOTEP’

The four-track collection contains recent single ‘Only Acting’.

Just recently, Kero Kero Bonito followed on their debut album ‘Bonito Generation’ with new track ‘Only Acting’.

Swapping some of the bubblegum electronics of their debut for poppy guitar riffs (and a few surprises) we said of ‘Only Acting’ that: “They’re keeping you on your toes in more ways than one, and doing it in true, spellbinding KKB style”.

Well, now KKB are back with even more new music! They’ve just dropped new EP ‘TOTEP’. Kicking off with the slightly wonky electronica of ‘The One True Path’, it contains ‘Only Acting’ but also includes the buoyant and scuzzy rock of ‘You Know How It Is’ and ‘Cinema’, which brings the two sides together effortlessly in a sleek climax.

Re-visit our feature with the band around the release of their debut album here, and listen to ‘TOTEP’ below.
