On the telly: Watch MGMT play two tracks on Colbert

Watch MGMT play two tracks on Colbert

They brought ‘Me and Michael’ and ‘Electric Feel’ to the show!

A couple of weeks back MGMT released their new album ‘Little Dark Age’ and recently they brought it to the ‘Late Show with Stephen Colbert’.

There, they played their latest single ‘Me and Michael’, a bit of a synth-pop belter. But they didn’t just play the track. Nope, the performance was directed as if it was an early music video, fuzzed out and filtered to make it look like a battered tape. The result was one pretty unique live performance.

As a bonus, they returned to hi definition and teamed up with Jon Batiste and Stay Human for a version of their smash ‘Electric Feel’, just a little bit after their debut album ‘Oracular Spectacular’ turned 10!

MGMT are also set for various festivals this summer, including Rock WerchterNOS Alive and Mad Cool

Watch MGMT play ‘Me and Michael’ and ‘Electric Feel’ below.
