Cover lover: Listen to Lana Del Rey cover Madonna’s ‘You Must Love Me’

Listen to Lana Del Rey cover Madonna’s ‘You Must Love Me’

She’s delivered her version of the track from the musical ‘Evita’.

Lana Del Rey’s covered a song by Madonna, but it might not be a track you were expecting.

Nope, she’s taken on a song from ‘Evita’ while contributing to Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s new album ‘Unmasked: The Platinum Collection’, which sees a bunch of artists doing their own covers of his show tunes. She’s offered up a version of ‘You Must Love Me’ (the only track in the movie that wasn’t also featured in the stage play) and as you might expect, it’s quite a hushed and stately take on the track.

Recently Lana did her own song, ‘Cherry’, with a bunch of fans at karaoke. She’s also been answering questions from the likes of Grimes, Stevie Nicks, Marina and the Diamonds and loads more for L’Officiel and ahe teamed up with BØRNS on his new track ‘God Save Our Young Blood’ back in January.

Listen to Lana cover ‘You Must Love Me’ below.
