Mahalia shares a new video for ‘Proud of Me’

She’s kicking off her UK and Ireland tour tonight!

Mahalia’s about to kick off a run of UK dates tonight, but she’s now got a new video for her recent track featuring Little Simz, ‘Proud of Me’

The clip follows Mahalia from the streets into the studio, where she lays down the track, and shares a few tender moments with friends and family. There’s also a little snippet of Mahalia talking in the middle of the video.

Speaking of the track at the time of its release, Mahalia said: “The one thing I have always said that makes me truly happy is knowing that my family, friends and you guys are proud of what I have achieved. I’ve always wanted to work with Little Simz. So, this was crazy for me. She gave me all the extra magic that I needed”.

As mentioned, Mahalia’s set to kick off a run of UK and Irish dates in Bristol tonight. She’s also due to play a date at London’s Scala on 1st May – that’s Mahalia’s birthday! Tickets are on sale now.
