Thyla share new track ‘I Was Biting’

The Brighton bunch are back with another ripper.

After releasing ‘Tell Each Other Lies’ last year, Brighton’s Thyla are back with a brand new track.

‘I Was Biting’ is another slice of scuzzy alt-rock lead by Millie Duthie’s soaring vocal performance and a thumping bassline. The band say of the new track: “I Was Biting is about dystopian aspects of modern society and a discontent for it. We talk about a unanimous feeling of anxiety and a desire to live in a fictional state of our own dreams; to escape from the mundane routine and expectations of society”.

As well as playing a couple of dates with Fickle Friends and Swimming Tapes, Thyla are also playing a couple of headline shows in the coming months as well as playing at London’s Lock Tavern Festival.

Listen to ‘I Was Biting’ and see all of Thyla’s upcoming tour dates below.
