Annie Clark gives the track an upbeat re-work.

Last time we heard of St. Vincent’s remixing skills she was giving us a sped-up, club-ready re-work of ‘MASSEDUCTION’ album track ‘Slow Disco’ with the appropriately titled ‘Fast Slow Disco’.

But now Annie Clark has released a remix that’s a little more pop-oriented, teaming up with Maroon 5 and Cardi B for a remix of their recent track ‘Girls Like You’. Annie has given the track an upbeat, glitchy remix that turns the ballad into something a little more dance-ready.

Posting to Instagram about the track, Annie said (all excitable caps intended): “HAD THE BEST TIME MAKING THIS MAROON 5/CARDI B REMIX. THANKS TO THEM FOR HAVING ME. LOTS OF DILLA SAMPLES MAKING THE BEAT AND LOTS OF DANCING ALONE IN MY STUDIO. MIXED BY MY GIRL LAURA SISK.”
