SOAK returns with new single and live dates

‘Everybody Loves You’ is the first preview of a new album(!).

SOAK has been very quiet since the release of her 2015 debut LP ‘Before We Forgot How To Dream’, but has now re-emerged with new material and details of upcoming live dates!

‘Everybody Loves You’ is the first preview of an upcoming new record(!) from Bridie Monds-Watson, and it’ll be road tested at four UK & Irish dates in November.

She describes ‘Everybody Loves You’ as ”a song about extreme denial. More specifically about my stubborn ability to convince myself I don’t want something that I do and blind my rational thought process - I suppose in this case, as a way of self-protection (and avoiding vulnerability).

“The lift at the end of the song (“Everybody wants you, And I do too”) represents the almost comedic/foolish acceptance of my own feelings. A 360 turn of events in which I then so desperately want all that I had rejected and pushed away. A consistent theme of my younger self.”

Listen to ‘Everybody Loves You’ and view the new live dates below.

NOVEMBER
26 Belfast, Oh Yeah
27 Dublin, The Grand Social
28 Manchester, Jimmy’s NQ
29 London, Omeara
