Watch Kevin Parker perform with Travis Scott on SNL

The Tame Impala frontman and John Mayer guest-starred in Travis Scott’s SNL performance.

Travis Scott served as musical guest on this weekend’s edition of Saturday Night Live, but if you were paying extra close attention you might have noticed the rapper had some special guests helping him perform.

Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and John Mayer joined Travis for performances of his songs ‘Sicko Mode’ and a medley of ‘Skeletons’ and ‘Astrothunder’, taken from Travis’ album ‘Astroworld’.

Back in July, Kevin Parker spoke about a potential new Tame Impala album next year, saying: ““I would very much hope so [to release a new Tame Impala record in summer 2019], I’d be very disappointed if we didn’t have something out by then. I mean, I love playing the songs live, I love playing ‘Currents’ songs, I love playing ‘Lonerism’ songs and everything, but I think I’m ready to play some other songs live. All the instinctual things are there.”
