The Cure join Roskilde 2019 line-up
The legendary band have added another festival headline slot to their plans for next summer…
The Cure have added another festival headline spot to their summer 2019 schedule; this time, they’ll be topping the bill in Denmark’s Roskilde.
The band, who’ve already confirmed plans to play a good chunk of fests across Europe next year, will be performing on the final night, and are joining the likes of Travis Scott, Parquet Courts and ALMA at next year’s event.
Other acts set to appear at the festival, which takes place between 29th June and 6th July, include Scarlet Pleasure,Testament, Julia Holter and Tirzah.
Speaking of The Cure’s appearance at next year’s edition of Roskilde, the fest’s Head of Programming Anders Wahrén has said: “The Cure are in every way the perfect closing act for next year’s edition of Roskilde Festival. They have an immense back catalogue of hits and beloved classics from the past 40 years, and their remarkably close relationship with our audience will surely create a special and very moving atmosphere. When they asked to play the final weekend show on Orange Stage, we didn’t hesitate for a second. They can play for hours on end if they want to, and I won’t miss a second of it.”
Tickets for Roskilde 2019 are on sale now.
The Cure are also set to play a handful of shows elsewhere in Europe next summer - their current run of dates looks a little like this:

JULY

06 Denmark, Roskilde
